 When it’s cold outside, you can’t wait to get home and into your warm bed. What if you’re a small child and you don’t have that warm bed to look forward to? It’s time to spread the warmth with the 2008 Harley-Davidson Kids In Dire Straits (K.I.D.S) Run in partnership with Jacaranda 94.2 and Gift of the Givers.
On Sunday 18 May the Harley Owners Group will be doing their Sunday Breakfast Run where they will be joined by other Harley-Davidson riders along the way to Montecasino where 800 Harley-Davidson riders from various clubs and HOG Chapters will be showing their support for this worthy cause.
This event will also be the launch of the Jacaranda Winter Warmer 2008 campaign in proud partnership with Gift of the Givers, and we would therefore like to ask you to donate a new blanket to a needy child at Montecasino. Bring a blanket along or you can donate R50 and a blanket will be given to a child on your behalf.
The Jacaranda 94.2 DJ’s will be riding on the Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and you will get a chance to meet them at Montecasino. The fun starts at 10:00 and there will be activities for the kids, food stalls, a band to entertain you and lots of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles on display.
The Jacaranda 94.2 jocks will be there and Liezel van der Westhuizen, Riva Schoeman, Francois du Toit, Maurice Carpede, Margaret van der Westhuizen and Michelle Bradshaw will also be riding on the Harley-Davidson Motorcycles during the Breakfast Run.
