As a fan I instinctively knew I would like Louise Carver’s latest album Saved By The Moonlight, but knowing how well her previous album did, I was interested to hear what the follow up to Silent Scream – with hits like “Empty Fantasy” and “Harder Than I Thought” - would sound like.
Louise is a classically trained pianist who got her first recording contract at the tender age of 15. Her first ever single was released when she was just 17 years old and with “It Don’t Matter” she made sure the music world took notice of her amazing talents.
“Home”, the first single released on Saved By The Moonlight, has been climbing up the charts since its release in 2007 and still gets respected airtime on big radio stations throughout the country.
Home”, she says “is a true reflection of the album and I am excited to introduce it to both familiar and fresh audiences.” The follow-up single “Didn’t Mean To Call” is currently breathing new life into the album’s sales.
Her idea to get the well known Theo Crous on board as producer on Saved By The Moonlight, was definitely a good one. Louise’s magical vocals are complemented throughout the album by the soothing melodies and perfect arrangement.
On her successful collaboration with Theo, Louise has said: “We worked on creating a timeless production – something that would continue to hold its own for years to come- and this, I believe, is what we have achieved.”
You have indeed, Louise! |
