1. What is the oddest gift you have ever received?
Tickets to a cosmetics show.

3. Any phobias?
I have this irrational fear of beetroot. You know the kind that comes pickled in jars. I know most would say it's a dislike and not a phobia but I've become so obsessive about it that I struggle being in the same room as the red stuff, nevermind having it on a plate.

4. Knowing that millions of people are listening, tell us what it feels like to be behind the microphone?
Most people get nervous when their boss is hanging around their cubicle making sure they're doing their job. Well, being on-air is like having a million bosses lurking over your shoulder making sure you're doing a good job. So in short it's no pressure and an immense jol!

5. What is your life’s ‘greatest hit’ and why?
Dave Matthews Band - Dancing Nancy’s. The song has meant a lot to me over the years and I'm a massive Dave fan. If you haven't heard it, do yourself a favour and buy the album.

6. What car do you drive at the moment and what is your dream car?
I drive an old Jetta, my dream is to one day own a classic refurbished sports car.

7. Do you have any unusual hobbies or pets? If yes, explain and tell us a bit about it.
It's not that unusual but I make music and play in a band, and I love other people’s pets to bits, as long as they don't come home with me.

8. Where is your favourite holiday spot?
The Knysna/George area..

9. What is the sure fire thing that gets you to feel good, relax and chilled?
A really good movie.

A place called Smoke in Groenkloof, Pretoria.
