The new 'Fashion Police' co-host, who was devastated when the comedienne died last September due to complications after undergoing routine throat surgery, will present a one-off show, 'Celebrating Joan,' on E! ahead of the first anniversary of her death on Friday.

The show will feature clips of the 81-year-old star's best bits from her time on the tongue-in-cheek fashion series, including bloopers and behind-the-scenes footage.

Melissa recently revealed she scattered Joan's ashes while on holiday in Wyoming with her son, Cooper, last month.

She said: "Coop and I took our annual family vacation to Wyoming. [The] first without my mom and scattered some of her ashes there so we can still be together every August as a family."

But she insisted they had nothing big planned to mark her anniversary.

She said: "Everyone expects me to have this big grand plan for the 4th and I am just going to be spending it with my son. He is going to go to school, I am going to go to work and come home and light a candle, and have a glass of wine."
