SOUTH AFRICAN MISSING IN NEPAL - A plane with a South African on board has gone missing in Nepal. 


Petro Nel, who is the DA's Deputy Leader of the North West, was on a sight-seeing flight in Nepal over a mountainous area when all contact was lost with the aircraft. 


Search teams have already started to look for her and the Russian pilot.

POWERS OF THE PUBLIC PROTECTOR - The Public Protector says today's Supreme Court of Appeal ruling in the SABC Motsoeng matter confirms that her findings can't be ignored. 


The Court ruled that disciplinary action should be taken against the SABC's controversial COO, Hlaudi Motsoeneng, and that he should be suspended pending the outcome of the investigation. 


Motsoeneng and the Minister of Communications, Faith Muthambi, fought the Public Protector's findings in court, which recommended that Motsoeneng be investigated.

WOMEN LEADERS - The ANC Women's League says the time is right for a woman to take over the leadership position in the ANC. 


The ruling party's National General Council will meet for the next three days to discuss, amongst others, the political and economic atmosphere, but also gender parity within the party. 


The Women's League Treasurer General, Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, says they can't just talk about women leadership...


FIFA LEADERSHIP - The International Olympic Committee has told FIFA enough is enough, and that the soccer governing body must act swiftly to regain credibility. 


The IOC has called on FIFA to accelarate their reform process, and to be open for an credible external presidential candidate to accomplish the necessary reforms and bring back stability to FIFA. 


This comes after FIFA President Sepp Blatter, his vice Michel Platini and Secretary General Jérôme Valcke have been suspended for 90 days.
