SAMA reacts to the passing of Sfiso Ncwane

The South African Music Association has reacted with sadness to the death of Gospel legend, Sfiso Ncwane who died in hospital yesterday.
"The passing of Sfiso Ncwane is a blow to the industry. It is a blow in the sense that we have lost one of our youngest Gospel artists who was making history," SAMA Chairperson, Thobela Dlamini told Jacaranda FM News.
Ncwane died from kidney failure at the age of 37.
Dlamni said that they are at a loss for words and that he will be greatly missed.

"I was actually called to the morgue and when I saw Ncwane laying there, I was struggling to comprehend that he has left us," he said.
He said that they will do anything in their power to support the family as well as continue his legacy of spreading the gospel.
"We lost legends this year, like Sfiso, Mandoza and collectively we have to do something to commemorate these great artists," Dlamini said.
Funeral arrangements for Ncwane are yet to be confirmed.
