WATCH: Fuel tanker on fire on N4 in Pretoria

Emergency services in Tshwane on Monday responded to a diesel tanker which caught fire on the N4 just before M17 in Pretoria North.

The cause of the 38,000-litre truck catching alight is being investigated.
No injuries have been reported.
Tshwane EMS spokesperson Lindsay Mnguni said the N4 had to be closed to traffic.
"Firefighting resources are from fire stations including Rosslyn, Wonderboom, Innesdale, Themba and Ga-Rankuwa.
"These include two fire engines, two water tankers, one water carrier, one foam tender, two rapid intervention units, two hazardous materials units, one district commander’s unit and one mobile command unit.
"Madibeng Fire Services are also on scene assisting with firefighting operations, namely one fire engine, one water tanker, a grassfire unit, and one fire safety unit.”
