Updated | By Lonwabo Miso
Cable theft caused a major power interruption in Lenasia on Friday, City Power said.

"City Power officials are currently in the area and have started replacing stolen cables," said spokesman Sol Masolo.
He said the cables were stolen at the Lenasia substation, and the affected area were Extension 9 and 10.
"City Power is confident that electricity supply will be restored in the affected areas before the end of the day."
