Relief for motorists at the pumps
Relief for motorists with the news that petrol and diesel are set to drop on Wednesday.
Spokesperson for the Department of Energy Robert Maake says the rand strengthened from R12.20 to R11.82 against the US Dollar, while the international oil price was also slightly lower.
Here are the decreases.
Petrol (95 Octane) R0.36 c/l
Petrol (93 Octane) R0.36 cl/
Diesel (0.05% Sulphur) R0.37 c/l
Diesel (0.005% Sulphur) R0.44 c/l
Illuminating paraffin will decrese by R0.22 c/l, while Maximum LPGas will decrease by R0.69 cents per kilogram.
