Updated | By Bronwyn Hardick
Background:
Alma School guides and enables intellectually and physically challenged children to live with dignity and as individuals in their own right. They provide specialized education, physiotherapy and occupational therapy for some 300 severely intellectually and physically disabled learners between the ages of 3 and 21. The school was founded in 1963 and is situated in Eloffsdal, Pretoria. Alma School is a registered Non-Profit organisation and relies greatly on donations and sponsorships to ensure sustainability.
This Tuesday (26 May 2015) strongman, Chris Batts will help the school raise funds. He already holds 24 world records and will attempt to pull a 2 ton truck for 25 meters in a record time!
