BACKGROUND:

Chantel Erlank and her husband lost their 11-year old daughter. She was born with special needs. They understand the pressure and costs involved in caring for a differently abled child and wanted to pass on some of the equipment needed for such care to another family in need of help. They asked Good Morning Angels to find a family that could make use of it. We sent them some requests and they chose to help little Marthinus. He's 6-years old - originally from Centurion, where his mom still lives and works. His step-dad, Pieter has been 'n big part of his care. After a long lay-off, Pieter found a job in Welkom, in the Free State and Marthinus now lives with him, until his mom can find a job there and re-locate too. Marthinus only recently started saying words and pulls himself up against furniture - like a 1-year old. He however cannot walk and still wears nappies. Our friends at Spar also helps out to bring some relief.
