MalJan plays Ice Hockey as team Enforcer (Video)

Ice hockey can be a bloody and brutal sport. But are the South Africans as aggressive as the rest of the world when having a swing at a puck in the ring? MalJan is sent to find out.

MalJan is sent to the Forest Hill City Ice Hockey ring where he met with Forest Rats Ice Hockey team coach, Nick Beukes. Rian asked him to give MalJan a place in the team and Nick suggested he comes on as the enforcer.

According to Wikipedia: the Enforcer is an unofficial role in ice hockey. The term is sometimes used synonymously with "fighter", "tough guy", or "goon". An enforcer's job is to deter and respond to dirty or violent play by the opposition. When such play occurs, the enforcer is expected to respond aggressively, by fighting or checking the offender. Enforcers are expected to react particularly harshly to violence against star players or goalies.

Just to shed some light on the situation: MalJan has not put on a pair of ice skates in over a decade and is terribly unfit and ideally not a match for such a brutal position in the team. Rian wanted to find out if South African Ice Hockey is as aggressive and brutal as North American hockey so upon arrival MalJan is handed an envelope and inside he discovers his fate: he is there to insult the players.

Watch the video to find out what happens as he attempts to use some cheeky chirps on the team.
