GUPTA JET - Defence Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula says it's not the State's business to enquire about the ownership of an aircraft before it is chartered for use by senior government officials. 


The minister set the record straight today on the plane that was charted through a Gupta-owned business, for deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa's recent visit to Japan.

FUEL PRICE - Motorists can breathe a sigh of relief with the petrol price that will drop by 69 cents a litre from next week Wednesday. 


Diesel will drop between 51 and 54 cents a litre. 


The Energy Department's Robert Maake says the drop is less than expected, due to salary increases for petrol attendants and cashiers...


 


SPRINGBOK RWC SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT - Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer is expected to announces his World Cup squad this evening.
