North West taxi boss killed

Police spokesperson Captain Paul Ramaloko said Mbambane, 55, was shot once in the head through the window of his living room on Monday as he was watching television at home.
“Other family members who were at home at the time with him alerted the police and the paramedics. They were surprised by a loud bang sound to the house. When looking around, Mbambane was lying in a pool of blood in the living room,” said Ramaloko.
“Mbambane, was confirmed dead on the scene by the paramedics. No other family member was wounded or caught by a bullet during the incident. Only one shot was fired.”
The motive of Mbambane’s death was unknown at the moment and no arrest had yet been made.
“A murder case has been opened. The police in Khuma are calling on members of the community who may be able to shed light regarding the murder of Mbambane to contact Captain Shadrack Mkhombo of the Khuma police detectives on 082 373 7781.”
