Two arrested for drug dealing in Northern Cape

Two men were arrested after drugs worth R50 000 and cash were found at a house in Kimberley, Northern Cape on Monday.

Spokesman Lieutenant Sergio Kock said police had followed up on information about drugs being sold at a house in Delta Street.


”Police raided the house and found drugs hidden under a pillow and a mattress in one of the bedrooms. Drugs such as tik, kat, mandrax, dagga and an undisclosed amount of money were confiscated,” said Kock.


”The drugs are estimated to be worth R50 000.”


The two men, both 23-years-old, are expected to appear in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court soon on charges of possession and dealing in drugs.
