July the 28th, 2016 - already anticipated to be one of the coldest nights out this year. With at least 250 CEOs and their nominated co-participants expected to brave the cold out on the Nelson Mandela Bridge in the Joburg CBD. The target? R40 million.

Executive Director of Itec, Gavin Meyer - an avid mountain biker - reckons there'll be no shortage of topics around staying active: "Given half the chance, steer them maybe into a little bit of trail running! *laughs* We love the opportunity to give back a little bit and looking into it, I think the ‘Pay It Forward’ concept is also very good.”

Gavin breaks down the relevance of the event for their company: "Itec plays quite strongly in the education sector. Recently, we even launched a new e-learning solution that fitted so well with this; what it does is that it allows learners to have access to educational resources - basically anytime, anywhere, in a secure environment.”
As an Executive Director of Itec, Gavin's core of my role is overseeing group sales, acquisitions and new products. Gavin is also responsible for marketing Itec and Strategic HR. Gavin also sits on Itec’s SA Executive Commitee and works very closely on aligning strategy and key strategic initiatives. Gavin holds a Marketing Diploma from Wits Technikon and has worked at Itec since 1998.
