Alive to tell the tale: SA man almost swallowed by whale

This video scared all of us and the man who was almost swallowed by a whale is alive to tell Martin Bester the story!
A Port Elizabeth man has narrowly escaped with his life after being swallowed by a whale. Yes, a whale!
The tour operator takes tourists on a once in a lifetime whale watching in Algoa Bay. The 51-year-old Rainer Schimpf was filmed with his legs hanging out of a whale’s mouth.
Schilmpf told Martin Bester he is grateful the whale spat him out. 'The incident happened out of nowhere. We got in the water and the next moment something grabbed me from the left. There was no time to think. I noticed when I felt pressure on the hip. I luckily knew that the whale’s throat is too small to swallow a human being. The whale probably realised this is something that should not be in my mouth.'

‘How does it feel to be in a whale’s mouth?’, Martin Bester asked.
‘It feels like someone hugs you a bit harder.’ Schimpf admitted.
