Charlotte du Toit spoke to Breakfast with Martin Bester on Wednesday as a finalist for a competition to win R20,000. Martin Bester thought something had to be done after she didn’t win the money.
Du Toit’s reason for wanting an extra penny in her pocket was to pay for a procedure to make her eyes more functional. The operation is estimated to cost R5,000 per eye.
