Lockdown regulations adjustments clarified

The Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs has given hawkers the green light to trade during the 21-day national lockdown.
Government has made several changes to the Disaster Management Act that will impact on lockdown regulations.
Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma addressed the nation along with other ministers to clarify changes to the lockdown guidelines.
The Ministers gave an update on Thursday, 3 April after revising the coronavirus regulations.

Hawkers can now trade during the 21-day national lockdown.
Taxis can operate with 70% capacity.
Call centres are now part of the essential services.
