Vehicle "flies" over highway into ocean in Port Elizabeth

Social media users shared a picture of a VW City Golf in the ocean, but no one really knows what happened.
We’re happy the couple is safe and on dry land!
Police in Port Elizabeth are investigating a case of reckless and negligent driving after a couple veered off the John Tallant Road, located in Nelson Mandela Bay in the Eastern Cape.
The vehicle landed in the ocean.

According to Algoa FM News, spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the couple, who are from Uitenhage, sustained a few injuries.
The incident was captured on CCTV footage and Twitter users could not believe that this happened.
