Spokesperson for the Gauteng Department of Health Kwara Kekana says the affected person is being treated at health facility in the province.
“Forty-seven members of the group are currently under quarantine at a private facility in Gauteng.
“Due to the limited quarantine space, separate arrangements were made to have the other 15 members of the group accommodated at one of the Gauteng’s health facilities and are under quarantine.”
Kekana says group was quarantined despite being uncooperative with officials.
“It is disappointing that the group was not cooperative with officials, to a point where police had to be called in by the department to help manage the situation.’’
