Goed...beter... INNIBOS!

Innibos is hosted each year in the winter school holidays at Hoërskool Bergvlam in Nelspruit (Mbombela City).  The next festival will be held from 5 to 8 July 2017.  This will be the 14th festival and promises to be even bigger and better than previous years.

Each year over 100 000 people attend the festival over the 4 days.  Innibos is a formal national arts festival with music, theatre, visual arts and dance productions, hosted in several venues in and around Nelspruit.  Tickets for these theatre productions are not included in the general festival terrain entrance and area available from Computicket from 5 May 2017.

The central festival terrain hosts seven open air stages, approximately 350 art craft stalls and entertainment from 10 a.m. till late every evening.  Every evening, a concert with top South African artists is presented on the Standard Bank Stage.  Crowds of up to 35 000 people attend the main stage shows. Patrons pay a once-off gate entrance per day and all the entertainment on the grounds are therefor included in this ticket.  An additional Golden Circle is available for reserved seating in front of the main stage on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (not included in the general gate entrance), however you can see the performances from unreserved areas.

The highlight of the of the festival each year is the Jacaranda FM Concert on the Standard Bank Main Stage on the Saturday evening.  This year the line-up includes Elvis Blue, Kurt Darren, Robbie Wessels, ADAM, Riana Nel, Juanita du Plessis, Corlea Botha, Snotkop, Dewald Wasserfall, Refentse, Monique Steyn, Ricus Nel, Liezel Pieters as well as a few surprise appearances and performances.  This concert is not to be missed!

Transport is not a problem this year with a FREE park ‘n ride service from the local I’langa Mall, a taxi/service for trips around town as well as a dedicated shuttle service between the festival grounds and the various show venues around town (at only R 10 per person per trip!)

Full program information and ticket prices can be found on the Innibos website (www.innibos.co.za) and tickets can be purchased directly from Computicket

But just remember that entrance is FREE to primary and pre-primary school children and on Wednesday, pensioners only pay R50.
