The Innibos Lowveld National Arts Festival in Mbombela (Nelspruit) promises an entertaining and impressive line-up of music, drama, arts and book events from 26-29 June this year.
As always one of the highlights will be the JacarandaFM Concert on the main stage. Be sure to be right there on Friday, June 28th, and begin your festive weekend with Theuns Jordaan, Refentse, Robbie Wessels, Emo Adams, Leah, Brendan Peyper and Tarryn Lamb.
The festival kicks off with an Art in Movement Parade on Wednesday, June 26th, at 10:00 which starts at City Centre and ends at Lowveld High School. More than 800 people will participate in this colourful event and you can watch it from various pavilions specifically erected to give you the best view possible.
The hot news is that the entrance fee is exactly the same as last year to help you save and enjoy the festival even more! Included in your entrance fee to the festival grounds are loads of free entertainment on four stages, the Boma Theatre with short extracts from plays, artisan food stalls, craft galore at the stalls in the Bosmôl, and of course the various music concerts every evening from 18:00 on the main stage.
Don’t forget to pop in at the National Craft Awards exhibition at the Civic Centre in Mbombela where the work of the cream of South African crafters will be on show for the duration of the festival.
Light up the festive fires with JacarandaFM and Innibos!
