Njabulo Muthanti is a bright and dedicated matriculant at Prestige College in Hammanskraal.

She is regarded as a star student by her teachers, and her family is extremely supportive and proud of her.

While Njabulo works tirelessly to excel in her crucial matric finals, things have taken a difficult turn at home.

Her mother recently lost her job, and although she has found a new job, the family has still fallen into severe financial hardship.

Despite this, Njabulo has remained focused on her studies and continues working towards a brighter future for herself and her family.

A major stumbling block is the registration fee for her Cambridge Finals.

She must register by 13 September at a cost of R41,000, or wait until next year.

When her friends and teachers learned about this, they immediately started a fundraiser.

Original Request

Dear Good Morning Angels Team,

I hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out with an urgent plea for assistance on behalf of one of our Grade 12 learners at Prestige College Hammanskraal, Njabulo Muthanti, who is enrolled in the Cambridge curriculum.

She is due to write her AS examinations at the end of September, but her final deadline to register is 13 September. Unfortunately, due to outstanding school and examination fees, she will not be able to register. Without these exams, she will not obtain a matric equivalent and will lose her opportunity to pursue university studies next year.

This young woman is an extraordinary learner: hardworking, dedicated, and deeply committed to building a better life for herself. Despite the difficult circumstances at home, she has persevered with determination and has continually inspired both her peers and her teachers at Prestige College Hammanskraal. It would be heartbreaking to see her dreams slip away simply because of financial barriers beyond her control.

The total amount needed is R41,000. Our school community of teachers and learners has already managed to raise R10,000, which demonstrates both her worthiness and the belief her peers have in her potential. However, the remaining R31,000 is urgently needed to secure her exam entry. This is not just an investment in one learner — it is an investment in a capable young woman whose education will open doors to university, employment, and meaningful contributions to society.

As her teachers at Prestige College Hammanskraal, we can personally attest to her commitment, integrity, and character. She has shown remarkable resilience and continues to work tirelessly toward her goals. We believe she deserves the chance to prove herself at this crucial stage of her education, and with your support, her future can be transformed.

We kindly ask for your assistance in covering the outstanding balance so that she can sit her exams and pursue her dream of higher education. Your help would quite literally change her life.

Thank you for considering this urgent appeal and for the incredible work you do in giving hope to those who need it most.

Yours sincerely,
Helé Lategan
