The school has achieved a 100% matric pass rate for the past 9 years. 

The 2018 matric class also earned more than 100 distinctions. 

Cornerstone College  

Cornerstone College in Silverton is an independent school. 

The school prides itself in having achieved a 100% matric pass rate for the past 21 years. 

According to the school’s website, the 2018 matric class achieved 110 distinctions and a 75% Bachelor Entrance Rate.

Hoërskool Waterkloof

This is one of the best schools in Pretoria. In previous years, it was awarded the academic school of the year by the Gauteng Department of Education. 

Hoërskool Waterkloof has achieved a 100% matric pass rate for more than 20 consecutive years.

Afrikaanse Meisieskool

This is an Afrikaans-speaking high school for girls in Pretoria, Gauteng. In 2003, they won the Afrikaans Olympiad in the category Afrikaans as first language.

One of its notable alumni is Helena Barnard, the 1987 winner of the South African Academy of Science and Art's History Olympiad.

The school has produced 100% matric rate for many years. 

Hoërskool Linden

This school located in Linden, Gauteng, has achieved a 100% matric pass rate for the past 27 years. In 2018 the matric class achieved a 90.64% Bachelor Entrance Rate and 329 distinctions.
