Updated | By Poelano Malema
Are you pursuing your studies in 2022 and looking to secure a bursary? Here is a list of where you can apply for them.
Universities and colleges around the country have opened their doors for applications.
Passing matric is one step into the world of tertiary education, but it does not come for free. The sad reality is that not everyone has enough money to study at an institution of higher learning.
The following stats are from Briefly.co.za and pertain to the 2021 fee structure of prominent universities and vary depending on your field of study:
University of Pretoria - R35,000 to R45,000
Rhodes University - R33,162 to R59,052
Stellenbosch University - R43,343 to R48,706
University of South Africa - R1,743 to R6,722 per module
University of Johannesburg - R39,506 to R82,843
For millions of South Africans who don't have enough money, bursaries or student loans offer a great opportunity to realise their dreams.
