Adele wants a peaceful life
London-born singer Adele craves a "peaceful, happy life", according to a friend.
The 27-year-old singer is among the best-selling artists in the world, but a source close to the 'Hello' hitmaker has revealed she'd prefer to keep a lower profile.
The insider said: "She really just wants a peaceful, happy life and she's trying her best to maintain it."
Although the London-born star mixes with other celebrities, she is said to find her elevated status to be slightly "surreal".
A friend told Us Weekly: "All the Hollywood stuff seems surreal to her."
What's more, the insider revealed Adele feels torn between her career and her family life, which includes her boyfriend of four years Simon Konecki and their three-year-old son Angelo.
This comes shortly after Adele claimed she is "all right" because of her family.
She thanked them for allowing her to feel as though she could pen tracks about her life for her new album.
She explained: "Being in such an amazing relationship with someone that's so there for me and so loyal and is really part of my core now, that's what made me write about everything I've ever done, because I've got his love.
"I know that sounds a bit like I'm trying to write a Hollywood movie but it's only because of him and because of our kid and stuff that I'm all right."
