Bonang and Minnie compete in education

Two media power houses are at it again, competing for a great cause, and we're not complaining.

It seems that the friendly competition between Queen B and Minnie Dlamini is far from over.

Minnie Dlamini tweeted in June last year that her foundation will be funding a few young girls with bursaries. One year later and a bit later, Bonang Matheba has also decided to give-back to those less privileged as the Queen of SA Media.

On Friday, 26 August, Bonang tweeted that the details of 10-full time bursaries will be revealed at the end of September. This is obviously great news.

It is no secret that Bonang is living large. She lives in the elite suburb of Hyde Park in Johannesburg, drives a Mercedes Benz CLA AMG valued at over R900, 000 and enjoys the finer things in life.

Since Minnie gave away her bursaries we have heard little about her charitable initiatives, except for the recent gift she gave to her mother - a BMW X5. Minnie is no slouch either, she has been seen driving a BMW convertible and a BMW X6, holidays in exotic homes and has a very envious bag and shoe collection.

Perhaps the bursary giveaways are simply to keep the taxman away?

But we would like to believe it's all from a genuine place. Thank you Queen B and SA's Diamond for making the entertainment industry more than just about entertainment.
