ANC condemns arson attacks in Vuwani

The ANC on Wednesday condemned in “the strongest possible terms” the violent protests over a demarcation dispute in Vuwani, Limpopo Province, which have resulted in 13 schools being set alight and other property damaged. Residents of Vuwani are protesting against a decision by the Municipal Demarcation Board (MDB) to incorporate the area under a newly merged municipality. On Wednesday night two more schools were torched, bringing the total number of damaged schools to 15.
