Fees Must Fall students at Wits are threatening to take legal action against the acting national police commissioner.
They are unhappy over percieved police brutality.
Clashes between police and students on campus have seen a number of students injured, including leaders of the movement.
Support for the movement is growing with unions, workers and academics pledging solidarity.
Students and workers are now outside the Hillbrow Police station in an attempt to secure the release of 4 arrested students.
