The party's Kgosientso Ramogokpa has accused the DA of appointing people in key strategic positions in the metro without advertising the posts.

Plans are now afoot to also lay a complaint with the Public Protector.

"Tomorrow we will be laying a complaint with the Public Protector of acts of maladministration and irregular appointments," he said.

Ramokgopa also challenged the Executive Mayor, Solly Msimanga, to provide proof to claims that the previous administration resolved to purchase a new fleet of BMW's.

He said a public apology must follow, if proof cannot be provided.
