Severe thunderstorms possible in places over the Mpumalanga escarpment and extreme north-western KwaZulu-Natal.
Hot and humid weather will result in extremely uncomfortable conditions in the Lowveld of Mpumalanga.
A heat wave with persistently high temperatures is expected in Gauteng, North-West and the western Bushveld of Limpopo from Friday, until at least Monday.
Gauteng: Hot in the north, otherwise fine and warm becoming partly cloudy with afternoon isolated showers and thundershowers.
