WEATHER: Heat wave hits Northern Cape

The SA Weather Service has issued a warning of a heat wave with persistently high temperatures that is expected in the northern parts of the Northern Cape coast from Wednesday until Friday.

Gauteng: Fine and cool.


Pretoria: 05 / 24

Johannesburg: 02 / 23


Mpumalanga: Warm in the Lowveld, otherwise fine and cool.


Mbombela: 08 / 24

Emalahleni: 04 / 24


Limpopo: Fine and cool to warm.


Polokwane: 06 / 24


North West: Fine and cool to warm.


Rustenburg: 05 / 24


Free State: Fine and cool.


Bloemfontein: 00 / 22


Northern Cape: Fine and cool to warm but hot along the coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south to south-easterly. 


Kimberley: -1 / 24


Western Cape: Fine and cool but warm over the western and central interior. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly along the west coast otherwise moderate north-westerly becoming south-westerly along the south coast in the afternoon.


Cape Town: 12 / 19


Eastern Cape: Fine and cool, but warm in places in the north. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh westerly to south westerly.


Port Elizabeth: 07 / 21


KwaZulu-Natal: Fine and cool to warm in the northeast. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh northeast.
