Zuma addresses Gordhan, state capture report in NCOP
President Jacob Zuma is currently in the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) to answer questions.
The session got off to a rocky start, with members of the EFF removed from the House by protection services.
The EFF maintains the President is not fit to address the House.
"This man is a murderer. Look, he's laughing. He's a thief. This man sitting there is a rapist," an EFF member shouted.
Meanwhile, President Zuma told the NCOP that the fraud charges against Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan are of concern to everyone.
"As Cabinet, we have expressed our full support of the minister while respecting the independence of law enforcement and prosecuting authority," Zuma said.
President Zuma also says he is well within his rights to apply for an interdict against the Public Protector's so-call state capture report.
"I interdicted it, because she was going to issue a report having not talked to me or asked me questions and it is within the Act of the Public Protector that those who are to be questioned, they have a right to do what I have done," Zuma said.
