After working nonstop over the past few years,  singer-actress Ariana Grande says it "would probably be healthy" for her to take a career break.

The 32-year-old made the admission during a recent interview with Vogue Japan. She is the publication's March 2026 cover star.

Grande wrapped up her promotional tour for 'Wicked: For Good' late last year. She starred in the movie alongside Cynthia Erivo and Jonathan Bailey.

Between filming and promoting, she spent nearly four years working on the project.

"I think that it would probably be healthy to. I'm not used to taking breaks. But I do know that I grew so much from taking space from music while I was filming 'Wicked'... But yeah, these past few years have been pretty nonstop. And by few, I mean fifteen," she told the publication.

The 'Yes, And?' singer has several upcoming projects, including the new Dr. Seuss film and 'Focker-In-Law'.

She will also be making her West End debut in 'Sunday in the Park With George' and starring in 'American Horror Story' season 3.

Her 'Eternal Sunshine Tour' is set to begin in June. Grande won't be slowing down anytime soon, but she hopes to achieve a better work-life balance.

“Balance is the goal for the next fifteen years. I don't think they will look like the previous fifteen years. I think there will be more balance.”

Her singing career will also take a back seat in the coming years. In 2024, she told Las Culturistas podcast hosts Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang that starring in 'Wicked' helped her reconnect with her acting roots.

“I’m gonna say something so scary, it’s gonna scare the absolute s*** out of my fans and everyone, but I love them, and they’ll deal, and we’ll be here forever,” she said.

“I’m always going to make music, I’m always going to go on stage, I’m always going to do pop stuff, I pinky promise. But I don’t think doing it at the rate I’ve been doing it for the past 10 years is where I see the next 10 years.”
