Beyoncé's 'ACT III' album is coming - well, at least that's what the Beyhive thinks.

Fan theories about the singer's next album have been going wild in recent weeks, and her recent appearance at the 2026 Met Gala added fuel to the flames.

Beyoncé arrived on the red carpet in a bejewelled skeleton-inspired dress designed by Olivier Rousteing. The theme for the gala was 'Costume Art'.

Fans noted that the design closely resembled the Roberto Cavalli dress that Queen B wore to Nelson Mandela's 46664 AIDS benefit concert in Cape Town in 2003.

The dress featured a crystal ribcage-like design, leading to new fan theories about 'Act III'.

Will ACT III be her last album?

Beyoncé wore the dress while performing 'Dangerously in Love' at the AIDS awareness concert.

The hit single featured on her 2003 debut solo album of the same name.

The album also produced hits such as 'Crazy in Love', 'Naughty Girl', 'Baby Boy', and 'Me, Myself and I'.

Fans believe that referencing that era of her career is a hint that 'ACT III' will be her last.

"Maybe this means [Act III] is her last ever album since she paid homage to her debut album," one fan said, per E! News.

What will Beyoncé Act III be?

Some fan theories suggest that it could also be a sign that Beyoncé is returning to her R&B roots.

However, the strongest theory so far is that 'ACT II' will be a rock album. The Beyhive also noticed that she made a 'rock hands' sign while walking the Met Gala red carpet.

Skeleton imagery is also popular among rock bands.

"Rock hands. The skeleton bones design. Beyoncé is telling us we are in ACT II [guitar emoji]," one person wrote on X.

One TikToker noted that rock legend Stevie Nicks made an appearance at the Met Gala for the first time ever.

The fact that it happened while Beyoncé is co-chairing the gala is no coincidence.

The previous albums in the singer's trilogy had two very different genre themes.

'Act I: Renaissance' was a mixture of dance, house, pop and some R&B. 'Act II: Cowboy Carter' was influenced by country music.

'Cowboy Caryer' won 'Album of the Year' and 'Best Country Album' at the 2025 Grammys.

Will ACT III be a Destiny's Child Reunion?

Fans also believe that 'ACT III' will be a Destiny's Child reunion album. Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams made a surprise appearance during the final show of the 'Cowboy Carter Your' in July 2025.

Williams also refused to confirm or deny the rumours during an appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live 'with Andy Cohen.

She did, however, say she does not rule out recording new music with her former Destiny's Child members in the future.

"Anything is possible," she said. Adding to the speculation is a recentupdate on Beyoncé's website.

She added a behind-the-scenes clip of Destiny's Child and Stevie Nicks on the set of their 'Bootylicious' music video.

Nicks made a cameo in the 2001 video. The song samples the rock queen's 1982 track, 'Edge of Seventeen'.

When will Beyoncè's ACT III come out?

If the Behive is too believed, Beyoncè's 'ACT III' album is coming very soon. Some predicted that she would announce the new project at the Met Gala.

That did not happen, but fans are still holding onto hope that 'Act III' will be rolled out in May with a lead single and surprise album drop.
