Bobby van Jaarsveld urges SA to save Vernon Barnard
The Voice SA coach, Bobby van Jaarsveld was bombed after last week's performances on the popular talent search competition after not saving his "favourite" Vernon Barnard.
Vernon Barnard, a blind contestant, vowed Bobby during the initial audition rounds and they made an instant connection.
"I had to save who I think was best and I know that South Africa will vote for Vernon," Bobby said after last week's live show.
The two have been working together after Bobby broke down in tears during the audition rounds.
Vernon's audition video also went viral and has been viewed more than 4 million times.
"It is a difficult task having to choose the best performers every week. Everyone is so talented," Bobby said.
Vernon however was optimistic and praised Bobby for his guidance.
"Bobby is too hard on himself. We all understand that it's a competition. He is an amazing mentor," Vernon said.
