'Expresso' presenter Carissa Cupido and her husband, Muma Khumalo, are celebrating one year of marriage as they prepare to welcome their first child.
It has been one year since Expresso presenter Carissa Cupido walked down the aisle with the love of her life, Muma Khumalo, and she took to Instagram to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.
"365 days of loving and learning you. Happy one year to us @mumzkhumz," she wrote, tagging her husband. "May God continue to guide and lead us from victory to victory."
The couple's post was met with an outpouring of love from their fans, who joined them in celebrating the milestone.
In the wedding photographs shared by Cupido, the presenter looked stunning in her bridal gown and makeup, while Khumalo looked dapper in a tuxedo. The wedding had an elegant all-black theme, with live music adding to the celebrations.
Baby on the way
The anniversary celebration comes just two months after the couple announced that they are expecting their first child.
Cupido reflected on the new chapter ahead, writing: "From husband and wife to mom and dad. I can’t wait for this new chapter to beautifully unfold with you by my side."
In June, Cupido and Khumalo shared the exciting news with their followers through a creative pregnancy announcement. In the photographs, the couple could be seen sitting in a car, with Cupido holding a newspaper-style announcement that read: "Breaking News: Baby Khumalo is on the way, due October 2026."
Cupido captioned the post: "1+1=3 Baby K is on the way and so deeply loved already. Mom and Dad can't wait to meet you, little one," she wrote.
The pregnancy announcement was met with excitement from fans and fellow celebrities, as the couple prepared to embark on their journey into parenthood.
Cupido and Khumalo have been together for several years. They started dating in 2015.
