Donovan Goliath named new presenter of SABC 1’s RGB
SABC 1 welcomes television personality and comedian Donovan Goliath as the new presenter of the Saturday night celebrity lifestyle show Real Goboza.
Donovan, who hails from Mthatha in the Eastern Cape, is no stranger to the RGB audience having played guest host in recent weeks. He joins Sinazo Yolwa as co-host of the popular lifestyle and entertainment show.
Donovan has various television roles under his belt including appearing as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing and co-hosting The Great South African Bake Off. He says he is super excited to be part of the RGB team, “I’m really looking forward to bringing my own unique style and a new energy to the show. Aweh!”
The SABC’s Head of PR: TV Channels, Zandile Nkonyeni says… “We are excited to have Donovan joining the RGB and the SABC 1 family. We are confident that he will elevate the show with his unique ability to connect with guests and resonate with viewers through his humour, insight and charisma.”
Meanwhile the show’s producer, Urban Brew Studios’ Sydney Mekgwe-Sitsila says, “We’re thrilled to officially welcome Donovan to the RGB family and we believe that he will use his talent to ensure RGB reaches new heights. I’m looking forward to seeing an already outstanding presenter continue to grow and develop.”
