Jennifer Lopez teams up with David Guetta on new song
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
New music is on the way from Jennifer Lopez, and fans think it could be her next big dance hit.
Jennifer Lopez has enlisted the help of David Guetta for her next big club banger.
They announced their new single, 'Save Me Tonight', in a joint Instagram post. The song will debut on Friday, March 6.
The post includes a snippet of the track, which is J.Lo's first major single of 2026. Lopez performed 'Save Me Tonight' along with five other new songs at a private party last year.
She also sang 'Birthday,' a song she released on her 56th birthday, July 24. However, a song she reportedly wrote about her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, created the most buzz online.
"Thank you for it, the pain that you caused/ ’Cause nothing’s gonna stop me, you gon' have to watch me/ Thank you for it, the pain that you caused/You gon’ have to watch me climb out of the wreckage of you," she sings in 'Wreckage of You', per Genius.
The 'Love Don't Cost a Thing' singer filed for a divorce from Affleck in August 2024 - just two years after their Las Vegas wedding.
Lopez performed some of her new songs during her 'Up All Night: Live in 2025' tour.
"Ahhh, finally. During your concert in Poland, I was standing front row, and I was holding the poster with 'Save me tonight' on it. So happy it finally gets released," a fan commented on the singer's post about her new single.
Jennifer Lopez Las Vegas Show
It's not the first time Guetta and Lopez have worked together. They have collaborated on several songs in the past, including 2009's 'Fresh Out the Oven', 'On the Floor', and 'Dance Again'.
Guetta has also recorded music with Sia, DJ Black Coffee, Justin Bieber, Master KG, AKON and Snoop Dogg.
Lopez will be heading to Las Vegas for 'The JLO Show' at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. She will be performing from March 6 to 28.
It's unclear if the tracks are part of an upcoming album or standalone singles. Fans are just thrilled that some of the songs are getting official releases.
However, reports suggest that she is working on a "big dance hit" comeback.
Her last release was 2024's 'This is Me... Now'. The ninth studio album was the follow-up to her 2002 project, 'This is Me... Then'.
Both albums featured songs dedicated to Affleck, including 'Dear Ben' and 'Dear Ben, Pt. II'.
Lopez previously hinted that 'This is Me Now' would be her last album, but sources claim that she "wants to wash away the stink of 'This Is Me... Now'" with a new project.
"They have reached out to songwriters.. She wants a big dance hit... She wants to get hits, and put out a new album," a source told Page Six.
