Judge finalises Jessica Alba's million-dollar divorce settlement
The ‘Honey’ actress got married in 2008 without a prenup and has agreed to split her community property in half, including acting royalties and residuals.
American actress Jessica Alba and her film producer husband, Cash Warren, have officially closed the door on their 16-year marriage.
A judge has signed off on the Hollywood couple’s divorce settlement, which was reached in February.
According to reports, the multi-million dollar agreement includes an equal split of their community property, including shares in The Honest Company.
The company has an IPO valuation of $308 million, and Warren will receive half of her vested restricted stock shares and certificate-restricted shares.
Alba co-founded the company shortly after becoming a mom. They share three children: Honor Marie, 17, Haven Garner, 14, and Hayes Alba, 8.
The pair will also divide their shares in other companies they have invested in.
Alba will also give her ex-husband 50% of her acting royalties and residuals for movie and TV roles she took on during their marriage. This includes the 2010 film 'Valentine's Day', starring Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Taylor Swift and more.
The 44-year-old gained fame through acting roles in 'Honey', 'Dark Angel', 'Sin City' and 'Flipper: The New Adventures'.
She gets to keep earnings from her acting roles that took place before and after their marriage. The same will apply to Warren, who has produced several projects.
Alba and Warren met on the set of the 2004 movie 'Fantastic Four'. She played Sue Storm in the film, which was a leading role. Warren was a director's assistant.
"Right after I met [Cash], I called my best friend and was like, 'I met this guy and I feel like I’ve known him forever and I’m gonna know him for the rest of my life.'"
They wed at a courthouse in Beverly Hills shortly before Honor's birth in June 2008, and separated in December 2024.
According to TMZ, Alba will also pay Warren $3 million, but neither party will receive spousal support.
The pair have both moved on since their split. Alba is currently dating actor Danny Ramirez while Warren is reportedly dating model Hana Sun Doer.
