Jisoo teases new song: 'A duet is near'
Jisoo is gearing up to release her latest single, which fans think features former One Direction star Zayn Malik.
Blackpink star Jisoo has announced that she has a new single on the way featuring a mystery male singer.
"A duet is near," the South Korean singer captioned a teaser picture. The song is called 'Eyes Closed'.
The singer did not share further details about the track, including when it will be released and who she is collaborating with.
However, her fans are convinced the duet will feature Zayn Malik. One shared a screenshot of what appears to be confirmation on Google of the upcoming track.
Some social media users are also convinced they have figured out when the song will be released based on clues online.
If they are correct, then 'Eyes Closed' will debut on October 10.

Malik has also hinted that he has a hot new collaboration coming out.
"New music coming out soon as well with another cool collaborator. I'll be featured on something pretty sick. So that's coming out first," he said during a recent livestream.
The 32-year-old star's appearance at a Blackpink concert adds to the speculation.
He took his daughter Khai, whom he shares with model Gigi Hadid, to the group's sold-out concert in New York in July. He shared a picture from the daddy-daughter date on his Instagram Stories.
"@blackpink, Thank you. Me and Khai loved it," he wrote.

Malik is also working on a project with his former One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson.
The pair filmed a docuseries for Netflix that is set to debut in 2026.
"The three-part series will be directed by Nicola Marsh, who is behind Song Exploder and Leo Baker’s Stay on Board," Rolling Stone magazine said.
"The yet-to-be-named project will follow the former One Direction members going on a 'spontaneous adventure' across the United States, sharing a 'rare look' at both of their private lives and a rekindling of their friendship."
Malik and Tomlinson are both kicking off 2026 with new projects.
Tomlinson's new album, 'How Did I Get Here?', drops on January 23, while Malik kicks off a seven-night residency on January 20.
