Kate Winslet shares shocking story about encounter with Eminem
Will the real Slim Shavy please stand up! Actress Kate Winslet turned up her nose at Eminem's bizarre grooming request.
Kate Winslet and Eminem are two names you wouldn't expect in the same sentence.
However, in 2004, the stars crossed paths for an appearance on 'Saturday Night Live (SNL)'. No major drama was reported from their episode - now!
The 'Titanic' actress, who was a host on the episode, revealed an awkward exchange they had behind the scenes with Eminem that left her gobsmacked.
"This is a story I've never, never told," she said during a recent visit to 'The Graham Norton Show'. "Eminem asked me to shave his bottom."
Norton was shocked, while the audience burst out laughing.
Winslet continued, "Well, he did. He said, 'Will you shave my butt?' and I said, 'I'm sorry, I don't do personal grooming.' Like what? I'm not gonna go with a Bic and get your crack love.”
"Never told that story before ever in my life in public," she added. Uhm, this is one story we would have kept in the archives!
The 50-year-old was not the only one with an interesting story to tell. Seth Meyers, Alan Carr and former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern were also guests on the show.
Ardern told Norton that she discovered she was pregnant with her daughter, Neve, three days before being named Prime Minister in 2017.
"Is that actually true?" a shocked Winslet asked. "Oh my God! You're even more amazing."
Arden joked that it was "terrible planning", but Winslet told her, 'Women, we just get on with it. Come on."
Only Arden and her husband, Clarke Gayford, were aware of her pregnancy.
"I should probably add he wasn't actually my husband at the time either," she said, which led to more praise from Winslet.
"Even more amazing!" she declared.
