Kendall Jenner tipped to be the next Bond Girl
Updated | By Entertainment Reporter
The rumour mill is buzzing with news that Kendall Jenner is in the running to follow in Halle Berry's footsteps.
Kendall Jenner is reportedly in the running to become the next Bond Girl.
According to reports, the supermodel is the frontrunner to take on the iconic role in the James Bond movie.
"Kendall Jenner has jumped to the top of our next Bond girl betting following strong support over the last few days. The model is now odds-on to be involved in the next instalment of the iconic film franchise," Coral’s John Hill told Metro UK.
The 007 films are getting a reboot after Amazon MGM Studios struck a deal that will see it take creative control of the franchise.
"We are honoured to continue this treasured heritage, and look forward to ushering in the next phase of the legendary 007 for audiences around the world," said Mike Hopkins, head of Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video, earlier this year
Daniel Craig, the film's most recent James Bond, has stepped down from his role.
Following the success of 2006's 'Casino Royale', Craig told his producer, Barbara Broccoli, that he would only make four movies.
His last movie was 2021's 'No Time to Die', which earned over $700 million at the box office.
"I said, 'This is it. I don't want to do any more,'" he told The Times UK in 2022.
Previous actors who have played the legendary character include Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Ian Fleming, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan.
The hunt for the next James Bond is still ongoing. 'Dune' director Denis Villeneuve will helm the next movie.

Kendall Jenner Bond Girl
Jenner's star power and good looks are on her side, but she isn't known for her acting ability.
Other contenders for the role, including Sydney Sweeney, Florence Pugh, and Ariana Grande, have a long list of acting credits.
Social media users don't seem impressed that 'The Kardashians' star could get the role.
"Who made up this rumour? Isn’t [the] Bond girl a significant role? I don’t see that being her first acting gig. I would love to see her acting, but I just think this is a lie," one X user said.
TikTok users asked, "What if we hired an actress instead?"
You could say they are shaken, not stirred, by the news. Jane Seymour, Denise Richards, Eva Green and Honor Blackman are some actresses who played Bond Girls.
Jenner is not the only Kardashian-Jenner family member stepping into the world of acting. Big sister Kim Kardashian is set to star in Hulu's upcoming legal series, 'All's Fair'.
Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, Sarah Paulson and Glenn Close are also part of the cast.
