The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star - who welcomed Saint into the world on Saturday (05.12.15) with the support of her husband Kanye West - reportedly struggled to cope with the nerves as she was worried about getting pregnancy complications again after the difficult birth of her daughter, North, two years ago.

A source told PEOPLE magazine: "She had some pretty intense anxiety the last couple of days [of pregnancy] and especially just before the baby came.

"She was scared for [this] delivery because of her past issues. She is thrilled [but it was] just so painful for her."

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old television personality previously shared her anxiety as she revealed there was a chance she may have had to have a hysterectomy following the baby's arrival.

She explained: "With the issues I had last time, my risk of having preclampsia and placenta acreeta are increased and there's not a whole lot I can do to prevent it, so my anxiety is a little high leading up to my delivery.

"In a very rare case, I might need a hysterectomy after delivery if my condition is severe enough, but luckily my doctor doesn't think this will happen. So as time goes on, I am stressing out less and trying to go with the flow."
