The singer's new song 'White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter' feels like it belongs in a Disney movie.
Lana Del Rey's new album is coming "soon".
The 'Young and Beautiful' singer has released a new song, 'White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter', from her tenth studio album, 'Stove'.
She co-wrote the single with her boat captain husband, Jeremy Dufrene. Her sister, Chuck Grant, and her brother-in-law, Jackson Pickens, are also listed as co-writers.
'White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter' is a song about Dufrene, whom she married in a private ceremony in September 2024.
The couple met during one of his alligator swamp boat tours in Louisiana.
"He's my white feather hawk tail deer hunter/ Likes to keep me cool in the hot breeze summer/ Likes to push me on this green John Deere mower/ I know you wish you had a man like him," she sings.
The name of Del Rey's upcoming album also appears to be inspired by a lyric in the song.
"Everyone knows I had some trouble/ But I'm home for the summer/ And I wanted to know if I could use your stove/ To cook somethin' up for you 'cause you're/ Positively voodoo, everything that you do/ Did you know exactly how magical you are?"
Her husband is not the only one giving off magical vibes. The 40-year-old's fans say her new song feels like it belongs in a Disney movie.
"It sounds like the soundtrack of an old Disney cartoon where the character is evil, and I love it," one fan wrote on Instagram.
A second person added, "This song is giving alternative Disney princess vibes."
Basically, Snow White vibes, but instead of Prince Charming, the Disney princess marries an alligator-loving father of three.
Swoon!
'White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter'
Del Rey also released a self-made music video for 'White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter'.
It appears to have been shot on a smartphone or film camera, and even her hairstylist doubled up as a cameraman. The singer says 'Stove' is coming "soon", and her latest release is her favourite song on the project.
"The single was produced by Lana Del Rey and her long-time collaborator Jack Antonoff, and features co-production and strings by Drew Erickson. The single features mixing by both Dean Reid and Laura Sisk."
Antonoff has worked with Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, and Lorde.
'Stove' is expected to drop in three and a half months, but fans are expecting a few more surprises, especially when it comes to the name.
Del Rey has renamed the album several times, and previously called it 'Lasso' and 'The Right Person Will Stay'.
It was also set for a January 2026 release date, but was pushed back after she added six new songs. P
