Louis Tomlinson, Zayn's Netflix project reportedly on ice after falling out
Bad news for One Direction fans. Louis Tomlinson and Zayn's 3-part docuseries has allegedly been cancelled after a physical altercation.
It could be the end of the road for Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik's Netflix documentary.
According to reports, the pair are no longer speaking to each other after an alleged on-set altercation.
The Sun claims the musicians unfollowed each other on social media after Malik allegedly punched Tomlinson in the face.
"Louis was stunned and in shock. Zayn was wearing rings so it cut his head. It happened outside in front of so many people," a source told the publication.
Tomlinson's sisters, Phoebe and Lottie, have also clicked unfollow after the incident, which reportedly took place on set.
The singers, who gained fame alongside Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan as members of the British boy band One Direction, announced their documentary in October last year.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the pair were expected to embark on a road trip across America to "reconnect and share an adventure".
"The series is a rare look inside the world of two of the most famous — and most private — men on the planet, opening up about life, loss and fatherhood," a synopsis of the three-part docu-series read.
The announcement was made one year after Payne's death. The 31-year-old fell to his death from the third floor of a hotel in Argentina in October 2024.
One Direction split in January 2016 - almost one year after Malik announced that he was leaving the band.
They all embarked on solo projects, and all four members are expected to release new albums in 2026. Tomlinson dropped 'How Did I Get Here?' in January, followed by Styles 'Kiss All The Time. Disco Occasionally'.
Interestingly, Malik's new album, 'KONNAKOL', was released on Friday, April 17 - the same week as news of his alleged brawl with Tomlinson.
Horan's 'Dinner Party' album is expected in June.
Netflix has not commented on the supposed cancellation of Tomlinson and Malik's documentary series.
Reps for the stars previously stated it would likely debut sometime in 2026.
