On Saturday, October 4, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, 44, attended a Balenciaga fashion show during the annual event, dressed in a white oversized cape over a matching button-down shirt.
Markle paired the ensemble with black pointed-toe heels and styled her hair in a sleek, pulled-back bun.

A representative for the Duchess shared with PEOPLE that she attended the show to support Pierpaolo Piccioli, who recently became the Creative Director at Balenciaga.

The spokesperson explained, "Over the years, the Duchess has worn several designs by Pierpaolo, and they've collaborated on creating key looks for major global events."
