The 'Cinderella' fairy tale is getting a 'Bridgerton' makeover.
The long-awaited 'Bridgerton' season 4 trailer is finally here. The popular Netflix series is set to return to our screens in 2026.
Netflix has released a 2:32-minute trailer ahead of the premiere. Benedict Bridgerton's love story takes centre stage in the new season, and it appears to be the stuff fairy tales are made of.
Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha, is his love interest. She is a lady's maid with a Cinderella-like dream to attend a masked ball.
Sophie, dressed in a silver dress and mask, catches Benedict's attention at his mother's masquerade ball.
He becomes enchanted by the 'Lady in Silver', but she runs off before he can uncover her true identity.
She does, of course, leave one silver glove behind, and Benedict is determined to find out who was the mysterious belle of the ball.
Will Benedict be able to accept Sophie as she is when he learns the truth? Will they get a fairy tale ending? All will be revealed in the latest season of 'Bridgerton'.
Several previous cast members will be returning for Season 4, including Lady Violet Bridgerton, played by Ruth Gemmell.
Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan), whose love story unfolded in season 3, are also back, and they have an extra family member with them.
The trailer reveals that the couple now have a baby. "Introducing Elliot Bridgerton - the new Lord Featherington aka Baby Whistledown, he’s very excited to meet you all," the actress wrote on Instagram.
Penelope, who was unmasked as Lady Whistledown in season 1, also appears to be in cahoots with Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) and Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh) to bring 'The Ton' the latest scandalous stories from the high society events.
Part I of 'Bridgerton' season 4 premieres on January 29. The new season consists of eight episodes.
