Nicki Minaj shows off her Trump 'gold card' visa
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
The Trinidadian rapper says she is President Donald Trump's "number one fan".
Rapper Nicki Minaj is the proud new owner of a Trump 'gold card' visa.
She showed off her card following an appearance at an event hosted by the U.S. Treasury Department in Washington, D.C.
President Donald Trump also attended the event and was pictured posing for pictures with the 'Anaconda' hitmaker.
"I will say that I am probably the president's number one fan, and that's not going to change," she told reporters. "And the hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more."
Minaj attended the event to support the administration's new 'Trump Accounts' for children initiative.
According to a government website, the initiative is "building long-term financial security for millions of children by creating tax-advantaged investment accounts for U.S. citizens under the age of 18".

Trump gold visa card
Shortly after the event, Minaj took to X to share a picture of her Trump 'gold visa' card.
In 2025, Trump launched an expensive visa program that offers high-level professionals a direct path to Citizenship. All holders of the 'golden visa' will be 'vetted people'.
"For a $15,000 DHS processing fee* and, after background approval, a contribution of $1 million, receive U.S. residency in record time with the Trump Gold Card," the website states.
Trump is also considering a $5 million visa option.
Minaj, who reportedly immigrated to the U.S. at the age of five, revealed in 2024 that she is not a U.S. citizen.
"I was born on a beautiful island called Trinidad and Tobago. But I’ve been in the States for many years. You would think that with the millions of dollars that I’ve paid in taxes to this country that I would have been given an honorary citizenship many, many, many thousands of years ago," the 43-year-old said during a TikTok live.
According to Minaj, her gold visa card is "free of charge".
"Residency? Residency? The cope is coping. Finalizing that citizenship paperwork as we speak, as per MY wonderful, gracious, charming President," she said on X.
Meanwhile, over 94,000 people signed a petition calling for Minaj's deportation.
